Enjoying a Cigar

The 12 degrees celsius temperatures don't seem to bother this old man enjoying a cigar while reading the news on Ste. Catherine street.

Nice photo. I enjoy seeing scenes like this one of people doing ordinary things.

This photo put a smile on Louis's face! (Editor to Louis: "How can une vache smile? Louis to Editor: "You figure it out. Take my word for it, I smiled.")

Anyway, it reminded Louis of his grandfather smoking his cheap Roi-Tan cigars. Louis's grandmother hated the smell of the cigars. (Louis doesn't remember those cheap stogies as smelling very pleasant, either!) So Louis's grandfather would hide the stogies in his dark blue '49 Studebaker pickup. He'd drive off to some far corner of his farm to smoke one, but the stench of the tobacco smoke on his clothes and his breath betrayed him every time!

Coucou voisin! ;)
J'aime beaucoup cette scène et le chouïa d'anachronisme entre ce monsieur bien comme il faut, fumant son bon cigare, assis dans la rue parmis les gafiti. On se demande bien ce qu'il lit... Les petites annonces? La bourse?
