A fruit stand in the Atwater Market

The main structure is a long building in north-south axis. On the ground floor, an arcade along the whole east side of the building allows merchants to set up their stalls, protected from rain, and sunlight (too much sunlight is not good for food on display). Inside, the majority of stores is the ones that demands refrigeration system and other electric appliances in order to conduct their business (ex: meat, cheese, sausage, etc). Café and pet shop can also be found among the stores. The west side of the building is designated as the loading area that allows delivery trucks to park near the building without disturbing the customers. What a pleasure to walk by with all those colors and smells.
